Whether you are a professional touring guitarist or a budding bedroom Jimi Hendrix, your instrument needs to feel and play at its absolute peak. Truss rod adjustments and tinkering with intonation can be a daunting prospect, and buzzing or worn frets can drive you mad.
Having completed specialized training at a Gibson-endorsed service centre, I offer low-action, high-playability setups, general maintenance, and fret dressings using professional luthier tools.
What's Included in a Setup?
Action & Playability
Precision bridge, saddle, and nut height adjustments. We configure your string height (action) to match your playing style—whether you require a super-low action for shredding, or higher clearance for heavy blues bending.
Truss Rod Adjustment
Correcting neck relief is vital for preventing string buzz. We measure and adjust neck curvature using high-precision straightedges and luthier gauges to ensure the neck has the ideal profile.
Perfect Intonation
Intonation adjustments ensure your guitar plays in tune across the entire length of the fretboard. We adjust individual saddle locations using professional strobe tuners for absolute pitch accuracy.
Fret Dressing & Polishing
Uneven frets cause dead notes and buzzing. We offer precision fret levelling, crowning, and polishing (fret dress) to restore a glass-like feel, allowing for effortless string bends.
